Larry Borda
President

A life long Republican, Larry served as a committee person for almost 20 years. At the same time he attended both college and law school in the evenings while working full time over a 10 year period. Larry practiced law for 23 years defending architects and engineers. A partner for 13 years, during the last 5 years he was part of the executive committee of a law firm in Montgomery County comprised of 30 lawyers. So as to spend more time with his 2 young children, Larry recently stopped practicing law to work for the Beazley group, which is a Lloyds' syndicate insuring architects and engineers. At Beazley, Larry is in charge of claims for the U.S.

 


Alex Godun
1st Vice President

Alex Godun is a life-long Republican who became interested in politics while pursuing his undergraduate degree at George Washington University in Washington DC during the terms of Ronald Reagan. While Alex grew up in Delaware County, he has lived for the past 8 years in Lower Makefield where he has served also as a Committee Person in South 5. He resides there with his wife and two sons ages 4 and 1. Alex has a MBA from Temple University where he is also a part-time Adjunct Professor, and additionally he is the full- time Human Resources Manager for the Tastykake Bakery.


Larry S. Wind, Esq.
2nd Vice President

Larry is active in the Lower Makefield/Yardley community, serving as assistant committeeman for N2 and the Republican Club. He has campaigned over the years to elect Republicans for local, statewide and national office.

Larry is a licensed attorney for over 30 years with degrees from the Wharton School and Widener University Law School.

Working in the areas of real estate finance, zoning, construction and development, Larry knows what its like to meet a payroll and create employment.

Larry believes in the values of personal responsibility, hard work and self determination.

Married for 30 years to Barbara, they have three children, Laura, Larry and Phillip. A former leader with the Boy Scouts of America, Larry's sons became Eagle Scouts.


Eve Moody
Recording Secretary

Eve moved to Lower Makefield in 1992 from Philadelphia, leaving a career as a Branch Manager for Mellon Bank to begin a new career as a stay at home mom. Eve has always been an active Republican and has worked for the Party on numerous occasions. Eve has enjoyed distributing voting materials and meeting with other Republicans, working the polls and attending local Republican functions. Eve is a long time member/contributor to the Republican National Committee.

Eve lives in Lower Makefield with her husband, Bill and her (2) children, Chris - 16 and Lauren - 14, and enjoys working with the Marketing Team at Shady Brook Farm.


Byron Roth
Treasurer

Mr. Roth has served his country for nearly 15 of which 12 years are as an Army Infantry Officer. He has been awarded such honors as the Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal to name a few and has served with a unit recently awarded the Navy Unit Commendation. He is currently serving as the Headquarter and Headquarters Company Commander for the 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team located in Philadelphia, PA.

Byron Roth has held numerous marketing management positions during the 12 years in the professional services industry to include the legal, engineering, accounting, and consulting fields. Mr. Roth has served on the Environmental Advisory Council for Lower Makefield Township, participated in numerous election/re-election campaigns for local candidates, and continues to be involved in the local Yardley/ Lower Makefield Township community.

Mr. Roth has a BS degree in Business Administration from Kutztown University in 1997 and a MBA degree from Drexel University in 2004. He currently resides in Lower Makefield, Bucks County.


Michael Spillane
Communications Secretary

Michael Spillane moved to Bucks County in 2007, after living in Washington D.C. for thirteen years. While in Washington, Michael was an active volunteer for RNCC functions, and provided web design for Congressman Frank Wolf of Loudoun County, VA.

A professional web designer, web developer and graphic designer for over 10 years, Michael runs Michael Spillane Design (www.michaelspillane.com).

He lives in Yardley with his wife and two young children. Michael received his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University.


Dawn Burke
Parliamentarian-Elect

Dawn Burke has resided in Lower Makefield along with her husband and 3 children since 2004.   Prior to moving to Lower Makefield, Dawn lived in Philadelphia where both she and her husband worked as Assistant District Attorney's for approximately 10 years. During her time in the District Attorney's Office, Dawn gained extensive litigation experience acting as lead counsel in countless trials on behalf of the victims of crime.  

After the birth of her second child, Dawn resigned from the District Attorney's Office to be with her children. She has since been self-employed working part-time with the primary focus of her practice being civil litigation, commercial and residential real estate.  

Dawn is an active member of the Republican Party most recently working the polls for several local candidates in the November election. She also volunteers in the schools where her children attend.
